Tomorrow we shall be coordinating and moderating the Side Event: "Environmental Health and Mental Health. Processes based in Nature versus ‘Climate Violence’. "Matadero Madrid as a prototype". See you on Tuesday, November 6th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Sala Azcona, of the Cineteca, within the official program of the II World Forum on Urban Violence and Education for Coexistence and Peace, which It will be held in Matadero Madrid, from November 5th to 8th. The 11th issue of the Magazine Diseña includes the article "Unfolding the Political Capacities of Design", by Fernando Domínguez Rubio and Uriel Fogué. The article includes elii's JFKit House, as one case study to "unfold the cosmos of the politics". The aim of this article is to discuss the political capacities of design. The usual way of exploring the relation between design and politics has focused on design’s ability to enfold the political, that is, to inscribe political codes into things, places, and bodies, operating at a sub-political level. An exploration is proposed of an alternative way of thinking about how design can become political matter: the propositional capacity to unfold the political, that is, to extend, interrogate and speculate about the types of things, places and bodies that constitute the cosmos of the political, operating at a level that is cosmopolitical.* This is a summary version of the original article: "Unfolding the Political Capacities of Design", included in the book edited by Albena Yaneva and Alejandro Zaera, entitled: "What is Cosmopolitical Design?"
