MAD x MAD, the urban strategy project for the Veranos de la Villa festival and the design of the Ecovisionarios exhibition in Matadero Madrid are finalist and selected, respectively, in the prestigious FAD Awards. ASSESSMENT OF THE JURY:
"The jury values the strategy of the" ghost urbanism "of the VdV (Veranos de la Villa 2019) precisely for its ephemeral condition of making appear (and disappear) the possibility that any plot, however peripheral it is or abandoned, can become "another place" through a reprogramming that manages a choreography of more than fifty temporary architectural interventions that built for three months another landscape of the city and another way of living Madrid for its citizens."

“El jurado valora la estrategia del «urbanismo fantasma» de los VdV (Veranos de la Villa 2019) precisamente por su condición efímera de hacer aparecer (y desaparecer) la posibilidad de que cualquier solar, por periférico que sea o abandonado que esté, puede convertirse en «otro lugar» mediante una reprogramación que gestiona una coreografía de más de cincuenta intervenciones arquitectónicas temporales que construyeron durante tres meses otro paisaje de la ciudad y otro modo de vivir Madrid por sus ciudadanxs”.
